Xbox wireless solutions?

If I were to get the offial xbox adapter thing the signal wouldnt be good because of where my xbox 360 is situated. I have also looked at powerline soulutions but do not know which mbps to get, 85 or 200. At the moment a wireless bridge seems the best option but do not know which on to get. I also know that usb ones dont work. The laptop bridge idea dosnt work for me. does anyone have any other ideas that work. If you can include links. Thanx
