Wireless Computers

My imac isnt picking up wireless connection, any solutions?

My imac just stopped picking up my wireless signal today for seemingly no reason. My xbox still picks up the wireless connection so I am sure it is the imac. Anyone got any hints?

1. It could be the wireless card in you imac.If its still under warranty take it to an apple store and they will replace it for free.
2. is airport on and working properly? is the wireless router on and working?
3. My lap did same , brought to the shop and the guy sold me a usb wifi finder ,said it would be cheaper than fixing the hardware problem that was causing mine
4. Check the WEP password; Restart your computer; Go to "Open Network Preferences" > Create a New Location (The '+' Sign Under your networks) > Try connecting under that different name. *Is the network still showing up or just can't be found period?
5. check the preferences, making sure the firewall is correct and the right ip address is entered. and if that doesn't work, hit it with a hammer!
